EcoVadis: What it is and how it evaluates corporate sustainability
EcoVadis is an international ESG rating agency that annually evaluates over 130,000 companies across more than 220 industries worldwide, analyzing their policies and actions in four thematic areas:
- Environment
- Labor practices and human rights
- Ethics
- Sustainable procurement
The EcoVadis rating provides a detailed assessment of a company's sustainability performance through the completion of an annual questionnaire. Based on the score obtained, a medal and a scorecard are awarded, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement. This allows companies to effectively focus their sustainability efforts.
